National Day Celebrations

It's National Day eve and there're no lessons today. Yay!

It's not that I don't like school or anything, it's just nice to have a break.

We were asked to wear ethnic costumes or red tops.

Some people wore ethnic costumes. I think the most common one was the Indian sari. It was so beautiful!

If I had one, I would wear it too. Maybe I should buy one then I can wear it in future.

The performance was quite ok.

I especially loved the part where we sang the National Day theme songs. I absolutly love those songs!

There was also a National Day book given to us. It's called "Today in History".

It has all the significant stuff that happened in Singapore in the past on every single day of the year.

Not sure if you get what I'm saying, I just know that it's a very beautiful book. Haha.

After the celebrations, we had a class outing. We went to Lido to watch "Charlie and the chocolate factory".

There wasn't any particular movie that I wanted to watch. But since it was a class outing, I watched it with everyone else.

I didn't enjoy the movie at all.

The book was nice, it was super.

But, the movie absolutely sucked!

If you happen to like the movie, sorry, but I'm just expressing my views here.

After the movie, I went home because I didn't feel too good. Maybe it was because we were sitting at one of the front rows so that gave me a headache.

Anyway, it's a public holiday tomorrow so I can look forward to a good sleep and waking up late.

Happy Birthday Singapore!
