Singapore flag

I bought a Singapore flag from the Community Centre today.

And it costs only $2. So cheap.

I've been bugging my parents to put up the Singapore flsg for National Day for a long time already.

Even the past few years! But they didn't do anything about it so I guess I had to go but one and put it up myself.

At the condo I stay in, there are less than 10 flats who have flags.

That's terribly pathetic!

What happened to your patroitism?

I still remember the times when almost everybody would hang the Singapore flag. That was when I was still staying at my old HDB flat at Telok Blangah 6 years ago.

Are people staying in private housing really less enthusiastic about such events?

I think so.

There isn't even the National Day spirit in the air! That's really sad.

I'm thinking I should sell flags next year.

Sell the Singapore flag to all the people in this condo, and offer to help them hang it up for free.

I can sell at $2 of course. It doesn't have to be because of profits.

Then it'll feel so much better to see so many flags instead of just one or two hanging around.

Just a though though.

Or maybe I would become like everyone else and not bother about such things anymore. Who knows?
