Chinese new year

Haven't been blogging for days already because I was staying at my Aunt's place. Didn't have internet access there.

The dream... I had a super weird dream before I woke up.

I dreamt that I got married! And the groom, or should I say the bride, was Sheryl! Woah... totally sick man! But Sheryl in that particular dream had a hint of Li Yue's characteristic. Eeew... now that I think of it, I still feel that it's weird. How could I have such a dream? Maybe I'm truly a lesbian inside. Whahaha...

In the dream, I proposed to her. Then on the wedding day itself, I decided to pull off the wedding because I felt we didn't know one another well enough to be married. Sheryl didn't mind.

Ahh... I feel so awkward blogging this. It's just super weird man! Does anyone out there know how to decipher dreams? Am I having a secret crush on girls? Haha... *puke

Went to bai nian for the rest of the day. We went to my Aunt's house in the late afternoon, then went to my Grandma's house for dinner, and went back to my Aunt's house to stay for the night. Only me and my brother stayed. My parents went home.

I had loads of fun! At my Grandma's house, we played uno stacko. Haven't played that for a long time already. And we learnt a new game. Asshole tai ti. It's a truly crazy game. The name sounds crude, but it's really a lot of fun!

Back at my Aunt's place, I learnt how to suan tai for mahjong. My mahjong still totally sucks. We started playing at 11pm when all the more senior relatives left. And we played till 4.30am! So late! I wasn't that tired, but Hui looked like she couldn't take it anymore and had to work the next day so we went to sleep.

And yes, because my mahjong totally sucks, I lost quite a bit. And I think I was unlucky that day too. Even when I play blackjack, I also kept losing.

Woke up at like 9.30am. Couldn't sleep well in an unfamiliar bed. Nothing special really happened. Just mahjong and tv shows. Lost even more money at mahjong. I think I really have no luck.

Played mahjong till 3.30am. Then we cooked some instant noodles and sausages for supper, or maybe breakfast. :)

We didn't expect to stay another day. But it was a lot of fun so we extended our stay. Still the same. Mahjong mahjong mahjong. But my luck really got better today. Managed to win some money, but still not enough to recoup my losses for the entire Chinese New Year. All in all, I lost $30 this holiday. The most I've ever lost. Maybe it's because I'm not experienced it mahjong... yet.

Quarelled with my Mum when she insisted that we should go home at 4pm. We wanted to stay for dinner and also play some more. In the end, we listened to her.

Met my parents at Tampines Mall for dinner at Long John Silvers. I totally love Long John food. But the service was totally lousy. I've never seen such lousy service in my life! It scored a well deserved 0 out of 100 marks. Will blog about what happened another day...

Wednesday, 1st Mar

VJ Cross country day! No lessons at all. Girls ran 3.2km, guys 4.8km.

My position is 300 out of the 700+ girls.

In the end, my class had 2 people from the top 20 girls and guys category. Amelia and Zi Rui. I heard out class got overall 4th. We missed 3rd by only a little. It's so sad because my class' girls were doing our best and chiong-ing the whole way. But the guys who could definitely run a lot faster were jogging slowly behind. If they put in more effort, I'm sure we would have got 3rd. After all, we got 1st last year!

Anyway, our junior class got 3rd for the year 1 class category. And Pegasus won first place! Woo hoo! Purple Pegasus Army!

After cross country, I went to Parkway for lunch with the swimming guys and 2 girls (Ngang Ju and Cheryl). Then we went bowling at Chinese Swimming Club (CSC) since we were almost 2 hours early. Really tired man, after not sleeping enough for 3 days straight. So after a game of bowling, I had some shut eye for a few minutes.

The coach taught us how to swim backstroke today. And somehow, water kept getting into my nose! Really painful and uncomfortable! Training today wasn't very hard because she knew that we had cross country in the morning.

So many guys had cramps! Jun Wei, Kevin and even Ding Yong! Some of them had cramps a few times and for both legs! But it's weird that none of the girls had cramps. Maybe it's because we didn't run as much.

We also played some game during swimming. The coach so nice to let us play, although it was also training our sprinting at the same time. Haha... Fun! Hope we can do this more often.

And lessons officially start tomorrow. After 6 days of holiday, we're going to start lessons again. And how nice, we get to start it with our longest and most tiring day of the week!
