General Paper
Paper was fine...
My essay topic goes something like this "Is technology a boon or a bane to formal education?"
This topic can really be argued both ways. It might have been more interesting to say it's a bane. But I wrote boon. Cos it's really much easier that way.
The comprehention passage was about fear. Quite ok except that I didn't really understand some parts. The summary was quite difficult and I only had 10 minutes to answer the application question so I didn't write much. I guess I'll probably score 1 or 2 marks out of 8, like always...
I reached home at 12.30pm after my paper. My Mum cooked fish porridge. I love coming home so early for lunch. It always makes it feel like holiday, although most of the time it's usually because I have exam that day.
Anyway, I called Mrs Chuah after that to ask about getting refunds for my friend. And she also told me that after paying Esmond, we still have money left (the unclaimed refunds and maybe a little profits) so we weren't making a loss. Such a relief!
As she's my maths tutor, she said that I have to study hard for maths tomorrow (she said it nicely though). So, yes! I'll study hard. I want her to be proud of me that even though I had to do so much work, I can still do well for the test.
I got highest in class for mid year exam last year. Then for promos, I dropped to 66%. Guess I was a little too "proud" that I didn't study hard enough.
This time, if I can do really well, I can prove to her that I'm really good!
Yup, so I'll go back to studying soon, after I've had my break.
So far I've studied all for econs and a little more than half of maths.
If I have time later, need to read though all the important points again to make sure I don't forget and to do the past year maths common test.

Damn it! All that rubbish about studying hard... I just wasted half an hour reading my previous posts (didn't know it was so interesting... haha... just kidding...).
Really have to go back to studying NOW!
