Ren ri
It's the senventh day of CNY, aka ren ri (loosely translated it means people's birthday). So it's everyone's birthday. Woo hoo! Happy birthday to you!
The sad thing is, my class and our junior class is having JTS (junior treat senior) today and I can't go! Because I'm supposed to spend the day with my family! Some of my classmates can't go because of family gatherings too but I wonder why they still put it on that day. Haiz...
Anyway, I went out with my family in the evening and went to have dinner at a coffee shop. We ordered food from the shop that you can order fish, chicken, rice and stuff. Something like a resturant type, just that it's in a coffeeshop. Don't know what is that type of stall called.
We had yusheng (yay! I love yusheng. So yummy and so fun!), fish, mai pian xia (prawns with cereal), honey chicken and baby kai lan. It was really nice!
After the satisfying dinner, we went to he pan (river hongbao) to walk walk. It was nice to just soak in the atmosphere.
I ate a bowl of shaved ice. But instead of water ice, the ice was frozen yoghurt. So nice! And there was passionfruit "sauce" on it too. Just that it's quite expensive, $3. But really really nice man! We also had some chestnuts.
And we met one of our uncle (my Dad's younger brother). He doesn't come to family gatherings, don't know why, so we haven't seen him for a long, long time. He gave us coupons for free ice cream. Haha... So nice of him!
We also saw the fireworks. It was very beautiful! I love fireworks!
In case you don't know, there will be fireworks everyday till the 15th day of cny at 9.30pm so go see if you haven't!
