4 As?

I got my Econs paper back today. Which means I now know all my grades for common test.

Here they are:

  • Mathematics: 81%, A
  • Economics: 67%, B
  • Physics: 63%, C
  • Chemistry: 48.5%, E
  • General Paper: 52%

Oh my gosh! My grades are just terrible! I was hoping to get A for econs. But missed it only by 2 marks! Argh!

Fabian got 4A's. Melissa too. Why not me?

I keep saying that I'll study hard but that doesn't seem to be becoming a reality. Up till now, I still feel really lazy. Don't want to do homework, don't want to revise my notes. I don't know what to do!

Actually my marks are considered quite good in class.

My class averages:

  • Maths: 77%
  • Econs: I don't know, but my score is quite high already.
  • Chemistry: 51.5% (I'm lower than it by only 3%)
  • Physics: 50+%
  • GP: I don't know, but I admit that my grade is very bad.

The thing is, my whole class doesn't seem to be doing well. No 4 A's at all. Not even one!

And the Chemistry average is already the highest in the S4 faculty. When I tell my friends my Chem marks, they, especially those from triple science, think that E is very bad! In triple science classes, I think the marks are much, much higher!

It's difficult to improve in a class where everyone's grades are not very good. It's very difficult!

At the beginning of last year, we were one of the most hardworking classes (I think). All our marks were really quite good. Now that our grades have deterioated so much, I think it's because of the growing responsibilities that we all have.

After all, my class really has a lot, a lot of people seriously involved in ccas!

There is Sheryl - table tennis captian, Hao Quan - squash captain (I think), Kuan Siang and Wei Xiang - health and fitness exco, Viknesh - hockey team leader, Chin Yong - CO section leader, Livia and Nicholas - choir exco, Jasmine - global affairs chairperson, Amarjote - Cricket captain, Clarissa - Pegasus house captain, Charlene and Zhang Lan - student council, and of course me - horticulture chairperson!

More than half of our class have leadership postitions! That may be a record in VJ currently!

I think my class's leaders are just too involved in their ccas. But I'm sure when the time comes to study, they will definitely perform.

I'm just not so sure of myself.
