SMU test
We had an online test during lesson today. And I only found out about it half an hour before lesson. Oh my gosh. It's the 2nd test we're having, and for both times, I completely forgot about it so I didn't study at all.
The previous test was fine. I got 81% without studying (class average 77%) so I was really pleased. But that was possible only because I really understood what the professor taught then. This time, I got quite lost halfway so I was afraid I wouldn't do well.
The test consists of 50 MCQ (luckily no open ended questions if not I would have died!) and the duration was 1 hour.
My score is 32/50. That's terrible! The VJ guys all got about 41/50. I don't know if I want to do well for this course of not.
The thing is, the tests, and even the exam are all open book. No notes allowed. So if you want the book, you have to buy it. It costs $40 and I find it such a waste to buy it just to use for so few lessons. So no book, cannot study extra, and no book during test, so I didn't do well. Oh wells. Like I said, I don't know if I want to do well for this course or not.
Enough about the course. I'm getting a little sick of it. I'm distracted by the fact that I don't speak up enough in class and can't earn my participation points. And since I'm stuck halfway, all the more I can't follow what's being taught.
Anyways, Qian Qi was dressed really nicely today. She just rebonded her hair. She and Sheryl always dress so nicely. I've never seen their clothes being repeated yet. Not like me, always wear the same few shirts that I feel comfortable in. I really wish that we had to wear uniform.
Qian Qi said she went clubbing at MOS yesterday. Can you believe it?! She just turned 18 less than 2 weeks ago. She went with her older sister I think.
It's like the both of them are the shopping-and-spend-a-lot-of-money type so sometimes I feel like I don't quite fit in. They're nice girls though.
Anyway, I think I still feel more comfortable with my classmates. Especially when we all wear uniforms.
I want to go clubbing too! It sounds so fun. But I doubt I'll be going anytime soon. Firstly, because my birthday is still 5 months away. And my group of friends don't have the habit of clubbing (at least not yet...) so it'll take some time before I will actually go...
