I'm rich!

Biz gave out dividend today!

And I got $57.80! Yay!

Actually I didn't do anything much. It was the tee shirt venture that made the money and I only helped to tend the booth for around 2 hours. But since they made so much, all those who helped in one way or the other got a share. So now you know how much we earned, huh?

This venture was the best ever. It benefitted the students - they got their nice VJ shirts at a reasonable $10, and we earned by ordering in bulk. Haha... All of us are winners!

Yay! So I'm really happy.

But our group's badges venture didn't go as well though. We were short of about $90 to cover cost. But it was a good project, just that response wasn't as good as we expected.

So now I can buy that nice pencil case I was eyeing for don't know how long already. I'm thinking of buying a tote bag for school but I shouldn't spend all my money at one go. Haha...

Anyway, on another topic, there was a blood donation drive at VJ today.

It was because of this donation drive last year that I started becoming a donor.

I wanted to donate this time but my parents didn't alow cos I'll be extracting teeth tomorrow then they're afraid that I'll lose too much blood and it'll be bad for my body. Something like that...

So I didn't donate. But I must say, I was really tempted to forge my parents' signature on the parent consent form because I promised Jasmine that I would donate blood together with her. It's her first time.

Besides, the guy said that I could donate, and there would be no side effects because of my extraction tomorrow. Oh wells, if I donate without telling my parents, they'll probably find out anyway when the blood bank sends letters to thank me for the donation and stuff. It's quite obvious because they send really a lot of letters!

So, better have my permission before I donate, if not I'll surely die if I get found out.

On my experience on blood donation, read this!

Donate blood, do a good deed! :)

Trip to the dentist

My appointment was at 8am and I was going to extract 2 teeth cos I was going to put braces.

I was scared. But I'm definitely going to go through with it, no matter what!

I had the chance to put braces in sec 2 but I gave up the chance because I was afraid of having to pull out 4 teeth. Now, I regret. Had I put them 4 years ago, I would have a nice set of teeth by now.

Now, after re-queuing for braces at the National Dentre Centre (NDC), it's finally my turn.

I was scared. Of course. But I knew that if I didn't pull out the teeth now, I would regret even more in future.

Sheryl and Kimberly video-called me together while I was in my Dad's car. Sheryl was like "don't worry, not pain one". I didn't really believe that, but I felt loads better with their encouragement.

At 8 plus, I saw my dentist and she checked my teeth, then she put some small rubber bands (called separators) in between some teeth. She said it was so that the teeth would make space for a metal ring she was going to insert the next week.

The separators would have to be there for one whole week. It's still quite uncomfortable. Not used to it yet.

I still have 2 more appointments before I actually put on the braces. Next week I'll pull out another 2 more teeth, and the next week, the braces will be fitted on me.

After putting on the separators, the dentist said I had to wait outside for another dentist to extract my teeth. By that time, I wasn't feeling scared. I felt like that was something I just had to go through.

Soon, I was called in. This second dentist was a guy. He was quite friendly, I think it's to make me relax. He asked quite a few questions about me before he injected anything. I didn't realise that most of my answers were quite short, and I kept replying ok until he asked "can you say something else other than ok?" Must have be quite difficult for him to keep a conversation going like that. Haha...

He asked if I was going back to school. And was quite surprised that I was. Because people will usually take the chance to skip school. Anyway, I had to go back because I didn't want to miss econs S. Also, I was chosen for a econs fund management quiz and the briefing was today too.

He also asked why I was so tan. I said it was swimming. And we talked about that for a while. I like talking about swimming so it kinda made me relax quite a bit. When he was applying something on my gums he asked me a question and I felt I couldn't reply cos I couldn't move my mouth properly. But he said I could talk, so I did.

This dentist gave me the impression that's he's really charismatic. Very charming. Haha... :D

He injected anesthetic twice, once at each tooth to be extracted. The injection wasn't really pain. It was so much better than I expected.

After a while, it just went numb.

Then the extraction began.

I lay down on the chair, while his assisstant held my head. (it seriously isn't as scary as it sounds)

Then he took some "pliers" and took out the teeth at the top. It was just like he held on to the teeth and shaked it sideways a little to loosen it, then pulled it out. I DIDN'T FEEL ANYTHING AT ALL!

I could tell the teeth was coming out, but completly no pain.

For the lower teeth, I sat in a more upright position, and he pulled it out the same way.

After everything, he asked "exciting or not?"

I wanted to say yes. It really was quite exciting. But I didn't. Shy la.

I got to keep the teeth too. And to my surprise, they were actually quite long! I thought they were like what you see in your mouth, maybe a little longer because part of it is embedded in the gum (like milk teeth). But no, it was quite long! The whole tooth, includind the root, was twice as long as I expected. Quite amazing! And I got to keep it too!

I had to bite on some gauze to stop the bleeding and it was uncomfortable. Half my mouth was numb and the right side of my lips had no feeling. It was weird!

When I went back to school, I spit out the gauze and looked at the hole. Obviously, it didn't look nice. Luckily, it didn't hurt. My mouth was still a little numb but the numbness soon went away. Still, there was no pain (luckily!).

Amarjote wanted to see the removed teeth and I showed it to her. In the end, quite a lot of my classmates saw it too. Their reaction was like "cool!". But I felt it was so gross! Argh...

Amarjote said the pain will come one or two days later when the anesthetic wears off. I kinda believe her cos she's worn braces before, but does the anesthetic take so long to wear off?

The dentist said some people find it very painful, while others don't find it pain at all. Hope I belong to the second group.

I expected it to be so painful that I wouldn't be able to eat properly. But the thing is, I can eat properly. Just that I use my left side to chew, so food wouldn't get stuck in the hole. I can still eat all the food I used to eat, perhaps in smaller portion, so as not to "disturb" the hole too much.

This has really been an amazing experience. Everything turned out so much better than I expected. Now that I've gone through it, I can't believe that I chose not to put braces years ago just because of this extraction!

SMU exam

It's the big day!

It's the last lesson of the International Economics Advanced Placement course!

It's the day we get tested on all the stuff we learnt (or in my case, did not learn) over the past 13 weeks.

At the beginning of the course, I really wanted to do well so that my 13 saturday mornings would be worth it. But slowly, it felt like I didn't understand more and more. So now, it's hard to catch up.

The test was hmm... ok I guess. Maybe I didn't even study so I don't even know if I got it wrong. I don't even know where were the answers were in the book since I didn't even read it!

I was planning to read the summary pages on the train. But guess what? I met Wei Qi at the Tampines station and talked to her all the way!

She was going to school for badminton training and we were so surprised because we haven't met one another for so long already!

I'm not blaming her for taking away my time to study. It wouldn't have made any difference anyway.

It was great to catch up and we took photos with our phones.

After the exam, there was a tea reception to give out our certificates of attendance.

Me, Sheryl and Qian Qi (aka QQ, as the guys call her. haha...) were sitting at the same table.

While we were eating, the professor came to talk to us. And it was a little awkward cos we didn't have much to say to him.

After a while, he said he would go to the other groups to mingle with the rest of the students. He went to talk to Andy, Sam, Vi and Mai, the 4 Vietnamese scholars also from VJ.

They talked for very long! Maybe 10 times longer than what he talked to us. When we left, they were still talking.

I guess it's because the guys have more to say. They always speak up in class anyway, while me, Sheryl and QQ are the"quiet" ones. Haha...

On the way to the MRT station, Qian Qi and I took photos of the places that we always walk pass every saturday. Even the "all buns at $1" sign at breadtalk. (it's $1 everytime we go there! haha...)

We felt kinda sad that we might never go to SMU again. It's just a feeling of not wanting to let go. Quite sad... Then again, it's good that we now have our saturday mornings free.

Haiz. Wonder how's my results for the exam. I'm not expecting it to be too good...

Can I know you?

That's what a stranger asked me when I was going back from Parkway.

We were crossing the road and he said that to me. But he sounded like he was mumbling to himself so I wasn't sure.

Then he said it again. I was like "huh?"

He said "can i know you?".

I just gave a blank stare.

"Er, can a not?" he asked again.

I just said "sorry, I have to go. Bye." Then I quickly crossed the road and left.

That guy wasn't handsome. Sorry, but I am that shallow.

And when he spoke to me, he was like mumbling, chewing on his words. Sounded so not-confident.

In short, he's not attractive.

What the hell, even if he was, I probably wouldn't want to know him either. I'm not that pretty or whatever, why would someone want to know me? (yes, I truly am shallow. I believe that people are attracted to each other only based on looks)

So I wouldn't want to get cheated or something.

I messaged Kim about it and she said I should be honoured. Haha... Maybe...

Besides, I was quite nicely dressed that day, because we had horti outing to kbox.

So, maybe, just maybe, I wasa pretty enough... (daydreaming again... haha...)

Why do all these weird things keep happening to me?

The stranger on the bus, the funny guy at the mrt station, the wrong number (part 1 and part 2) and some other funny guy on the mrt (on the day I went out with my junior class, but I didn't blog about it).

Am I some sort of magnet that attracts all these funny stuff? Argh... sometimes it irritate me. But myabe it's kinda interesting. Haha... I'm siao!

The thing is, all these guys aren't good looking. Not a single bit! If not, I'll probably be super honoured.

Anyway, there was a horti outing to kbox today. It was loads of fun!

Me, Kim, Wen Zhe, Yong Bin, Wei Sheng, Ping, Xu Duo and Tian Yuan went.

Tian Yuan should be crowned our horti superstar. She's so good!

Xu Duo too. Wen Zhe could sing the high notes, Kim also.

Looks like I was the worse of the girls. Nvm, cos we had fun!

But Ping didn't sing at all cos she's Indonesian and doesn't know Chinese. I felt quite bad that she was neglected cos I invited her. But the thing is, it's our club outing and we all wanted to go, so I had to invite her right? If I didn't, it would cause her to be even more neglected. I talked to her a little, but still, I felt she was a bit bored.

Wei Sheng was kinda bored too cos he only sings English songs. So we chose a few English ones for him to sing. And as you know, English songs at kbox are really outdated. He ended up singing 25 minutes by MLTR and we also chose "everytime" and "toxic" by britney spears. Of course, he refused to sing those 2. Haha...

The food was quite nice. I had the fish set. The only downside was that the food came really late. We got it only at 1.30pm and we were all starving!

I got kinda dizzy cos the 8 of us were trapped in a small room for 4 hours. After we finished, I had a really bad headache. I went to Parkway to collect my handphone which I had left there to repair (the * button got spoilt just one hour after I bought it!)

It was when I was crossing the road out of Parkway that I met that funny guy.

Felt so weird.

It was raining very heavily and my Dad was coming to pick me up cos my family was going to my Aunt's place.

The whole day, I had a throbbing headache from the lack of oxygen in the small kbox room.

Anyway, the gathering was really fun cos there was loads of nice food. The crab was gigantic!

I had a piece of the curry crab (the half body) and a black pepper pincer. Yummy!! The crab was so big that you didn't have to crack open the shell just to get that small miserable piece of meat. It was just absolutely delicious! Mmmm...

The satay was wonderful too! Cos usually when you buy satay, it has a piece of fat in the middle. I hate that! Then everytime I would eat the other two not-fat pieces. But this satay was just all meat. No piece of fat! Woohoo! So nice! haha...

After that I played cards with my cousins while watchin tv. I love my cousins cos they're really nice!

When I went home, it was already 11 plus. I went to bathe then look throught the econs textbook for the SMU exam. Yes, it's the SMU exam the next day and I haven't studied. It's open book, so I'll just refer to the book for the answers (that is, if I know where they are).

I went to sleep at 1am, after finishing making notes on which pages the summary for each chapter were. I'll read it tomorrow on the MRT.

Have to go sleep because of the terrible headache.

PW

Got back my PW results today too.

It's a band 2. I was quite disappointed, cos after doing so much work, I only got a lousy 2.

But considering the fact that only 33% of Victorians got band 1, maybe it isn't that bad after all.

It might be because our teachers are more strict this year. My whole senior class had band 1 so I thought this year's would be something like that.

My whole group got 2s, except Chen Yue who got band 3.

It should be because of the oral presentation. Her pronounciation and sentence structure wasn't that good, because she's from China.

It wasn't good to know that my group was at the low band 2. If any of us had done worse for the presentation, that person would have gotten a band 3 too.

Only 11 people in my whole class got band 1.

Haiz... Well, the good news is that PW is over!

MGS swimming carnival

It's the competition day.

It started with heavy rain, which died down after a while.

We warmed up at about 9.15.

At 9.40am, we had to report.

And soon after, was the event. Everything just happened so, so fast!

I was the second swimmer in the relay and it was not long before I realised Janice (the first swimmer) was swimming towards me. It would be my turn very soon.

When I jumped in, I felt that the plunge was good. I kept swimming and swimming, and surprisingly, didn't feel that tired till two-thirds of the way there. (Guess the bananas I ate for breakfast helped) Soon, fatigue began to kick in. I felt my arms aching, but just used every ounce of strength to get to the other side.

When my turn was over, the whole experience just felt surreal. Like we've been training so hard, just for that 45 seconds of swimming. I had a really weird feeling...

When I came out of the pool, I saw that the time for our first 2 swimmers (Janice and me) was about 1:36min. Not bad, considering I took quite some time to get out of the pool.

Ngang Ju was the third swimmer, and Shu Qi, the forth.

All in all, our timing was 2:50min. We came in 6th.

Sad thing was, there are only 6 teams. Still it was our best timing, since we usually take 3 minutes.

If I didn't remember wrongly...

First: CJC 2:16min

Second: SAJC 2:17min

Third: TJC 2:18min

Vivien took a video of us swimming using my phone and there was this one part where I stood on the platform, ready to plunge, and she was recording behind me. So in the end, she took a short video of my butt. Not long, just 2 to 3 seconds, but it was embarrassing enough because the other girls wanted to see the video...

After the competition, we went to McDonald's for lunch, although we had the breakfast meal. I had hotcakes. I totaly love it! Haha...

It's actually VJ's sports day but we decided not to go back to school. Actually I think sports day is fun and I wouldn't mind going back. But since I was going to celebrate Hanjie's birthday later, I couldn't go. Anyway, I didn't mind going out with the girls either. Haha...

We went to Orchard to walk walk. Since we had nothing to do, we watched a movie - invisible man. It's not bad, a movie about some robbery, hostages and stuff. But not actually what I enjoy. Still, not bad.

After the movie at 3pm, we went back.

I went to City Hall to buy Hanjie's present - a watch.

Then went to Bedok Long John to meet Si Hui, Melissa, Cindy, Kia Boon and of course, Hanjie.

I love Long John! My favourite fast food! :)

It was nice catching up with them. Haven't seen them for quite long already.

We also sang happy birthday to Hanjie and had cake there. So fun!

After that, I went home while the others (except Melissa) went back to TJ for mardi gras.

I'm quite tired now. I think I'll go sleep at 10.

Looking forward to going to kbox with the horti people tomorrow! :)

A bunch of nerves

Tomorrow's Methodist Girls' School's swimming carnival and there's an event for JC teams and we're invited to it.

Only girls though.

We are taking part in the 4 x 50m freestyle relay.

I'm nervous cos freestyle isn't my best stroke. I find it really tiring, that's why breaststroke suits me more. But no choice, since we have limited girls so I have to go. Quite honoured though, cos the other girls chosen to go all swim free style. I'm the only breaststroker so I'm glad that I got chosen.

We practiced the timing to plunge, and there were quite a few hiccups. At first, we were all afraid that if we didn't jump properly, we would jump on the person before. So we ended up jumping even worse.

Luckily it's a lot better now.

Today's training at CSC was quite slack. We learnt more plunging and turning for all 4 strokes. The training was quite timely as we needed help on plunging. The coach even stayed back for quite a while to specially teach us.

So the thing is, I'm nervous because I'm not as good as I would like to be at freestyle. I don't swim it often so I worry that I won't perform.

We took our time trials last week and my timing as almost the same as Ngang Ju. Not bad actually, it's rather close to the others. I think I'm faster than Janice.

So maybe, I don't have to worry that much after all. Wish me good luck! :)

Enterprise Day

Went to ITE with Bizclub.

Initially, I was supposed to go with Kimberly. Then later, Jasmine said she wanted to go too, so I asked Kim if it was alright for 3 of us to go together. She said ok.

But this morning, I was late by 5 minutes. They had already boarded the bus, luckily haven't left.

Kim was sitting with Jacqueline and Jas was alone so I sat with her. Somehow, I feel like I "abandoned" Kim cos I agreed to go with her in the first place.

Throughout the whole event, she was with Jac. They're good friends actually, since they're in the same class. But before we signed up for the event a few days ago, she said that Jac was going with her friend so I had no idea why they ended up together.

The dress code was casual. However, only me, Kim and Jac were in home clothes. Somehow, the others had unanimously decide to wear something school based.

We reached there after a short bus ride. Everyone else were in their respective school uniforms. Only the VJ people were really casual. We were wearing home clothes, and the others in some school tee shirts. Haha...

I saw Cindy there too!

The event started with a game. It was about buying components, manufacturing products and then selling it. It was about speed, wits and of course, money.

There was a guy who tried to hype up the atmosphere in the beginning. He was saying "I say enterprise, you say day. Enterprise (us: day), enterprise (us: day)" But it was kinda stupid. Haha... Worse of all, he did that 3 times!

Maybe it did help to lighten the atmosphere. Maybe...

The game was loads of fun! Lots of running around to get money, fast!

It was really, really interesting. Quite educational, but mostly fun! I love it!

Later, we went to the auditorium for a talk. The audi was so nice! The chairs so comfortable and the place so big.

First speaker was Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. All along, he just gives me the impression that he's very charismatic. I like the way he speaks. He's a very handsome guy too. Really admire him. Don't know why actually. But it's not that type of "like". Eeew...

After that, there were talks by the founder of the $1.99 shop and Elim Chew (77th street founder) and Hossan Leong.

Hossan Leong's speech didn't have any point. I think it was just for humour.

The whole talk was rather enriching. I'm glad that I went.

After the talk was over, we went for lunch at TM.

We went to pastamania and I had chicken bolognese with the short straw-like pasta. Kim's was spicy chicken.

It was nice! But quite ex too.

After that, the others went back while Kim and I stayed at TM to walk walk. We went to look at earrings at lots of shops. I bought a pair of gold hoops from "Helen". It's my favourite shop in TM and I've been eyeing that pair of earrings for very long already. It's only $3.90 and I absolutely love it!

We also went to U2 to look at the clothes. Then Kim suggested trying the clothers for fun. We wouldn't be buying anything. We didn't have enough money anyway. I tried a 2-piece yellow racer back with white spaghetti. It was quite nice. Kim tried 2 tops. So fun!

Like we were doing something wrong (trying when we had no intention of buying). So thrilling! Whahaha...

After that, we went to the bus interchange where we would go home.

On the way, we met a malay guy who wanted a donation of $10. Weird thing is, he didn't have any coupon or donation can. So after we give him the money, where would he put it? In his wallet for safe keeping maybe...

He had some identification thing. Anyway, Kim and I didn't have any money at all. Especially after I bought the earrings. He damn suay la. Want to cheat also choose the wrong people. I didn't even have 1 note! And Kim only had about $2+. When we told him that we had no money for a $10 donation, he suggested $5 instead. You siao ar?

Do you think we're so stupid as to think being cheated of $5 is better than 10?

He finally gave up when I showed him my blank wallet.

These people should really not do such things. Next time got real donation, who dares to donate? I think the safest is to donate to students with donation cans. At least most of them won't be so bold as to cheat wearing their school uniform and also there'll be lots others collecting donation too so it should be real.

People, remember that there are still others less fortunate who need your help! Don't stop donating just because some people cheat. There are still other ways to donate. :)

kbox!

Woohoo! I'm so happy.

On the way to the bus stop after horti today, I suggested having a horti outing next friday (good fri). Let's go to kbox!

Kimberly and Wen Zhe immediately agreed. Yes! I'm so happy. Haven't gone out with my really good friends for quite long liao. It's surely going to be fun!

So far, Ping, Xu Duo and Tian Yuan are going as well.

Hope the guys will go too! :)

Go VJ Go VJ GO!

Soccer match: VJ against MI (millenium institute -hope I spelled it correctly)

We were stuck in Econs S when the match started. I think all of us were itching to go watch the match. When we were finally released, it was already the second half. Score was still 0-0.

Jasmine said VJ played quite badly for the first half. Luckily we didn't let in any goals.

This was supposed to be our third match, but the previous 2 were postponed to the end if the season because of the rain. Everyone hoped we would be able to play our first match today.

VJ soccer was the national champion of 2004. I think we were also champions before that. But last year, we lost to MJ and came in second. We were all so devastated because we really expected to win. We played all the way to the end, even more than the 5 penalty kicks. It all went down to the 7th kick. And we lost! Just by one ball!!!

Heard that MJ lost their first match this year. But ACJC seems to be pretty strong.

Hopefully this year we can win. But we don't want to pressure the soccer guys too much. No pressure guys... you all just need to get first. No pressure at all...

Anyway, back to today's match. We scored the first goal quite soon after I arrived and we were all so happy. I was so excited that I almost cried! You know, that feeling of sitting in the crowd, and all of us wanting to win so bad. We were just like a big family man!

We cheered a lot throughout the game, wanting to keep our lead.

Then, we scored another goal. We were all estatic! It was almost a comfirmed win! But of course, still had to be careful.

After that, MI had a penalty kick and they scored! There was this feeling of "we are still leading so it doesn't matter, but we better be careful!". We were just hanging on to our lead.

Finally, the match ended and VJ won, 2-1.

During the match, one of the red shirts (student councillors in charge of cheering) said we will trash MI and it was said rather rudely. The thing is, the MI supporters were sitting just beside us! I bet they heard that.

It must be really hard for the MI supporters to go to another school to cheer for their team because VJ had so many more people cheering. And obviously, we drowned MI's cheers. I had some sort of feeling that VJ people we not very friendly to the MI people.

It's like we really, really hate them. A game is a game after all. Maybe we just got too carried away.

Hopefully VJ can continue winning! All of us really want to be the national soccer champion. I'm looking forward to the finals at the national stadium. It'll be so exciting!

GO VJ GO VJ GO!

I love rice!

Actually, not really.

I just love the eye candy.

My Mum didn't cook dinner today so I went to buy dinner for us.

I volunteered to go. Even though it was raining heavily (and yes, we swam in the rain today).

Because there are 2 awesomely shuai guys at the cai4 fan4 stall.

I feel really shy around them though. Don't know why. Just shy la. Then they're very nice to customers, always talk to them (esp girls! seldom see them talk to men. Haha...).

Once, I bought food from another stall and when I walked pass the rice stall to go out, they said bye bye to me. I was quite surprised then I didn't know what to say. And can you believe it? I just smiled a little at them then quickly walked off. Like I was running away la! Aiyoh... Damn embarrassing.

Look at the lay out of the foodcourt. I wanna tell you something. (those little circles are the tables and chairs. I know my drawing sucks. I drew it at "paint" what...)

Usually people will walk pass the rice stall to get to the other stalls cos it's the "obvious" route. My Mum wanted yu rou mi fen (loosely translated: fried-fish noodles) from the fish stall.

Instead of taking the obvious route, I walked on the red path, in between the tables and chairs cos I didn't want to pass by the rice stall... yet.

After buying my Mum's and brother's food, I went to the rice stall to buy my dinner. I bought from that stall not because the food's really nice, but because... ahem*. Haha...

Sometimes it'll be an old guy manning the stall. Maybe he's the boss? Anyway, if it's him, I'll buy something else instead. The rice stall isn't exactly the best stall in the foodcourt. I only buy if... haha... you know.

Today, some other guy was there instead. Not the 2 usual shuai guys. But I bought rice anyway. Then after a while, one of the shuai guys (lets call him A) came out of the kitchen and cos there were too many customers.

I was secretly happy. Whahaha... An shuang! :D

He wasn't the one who got my food though. It was the new shuai guy (we'll call him B).

I thought I heard them say "ta1 hen2 mei3" (she's pretty). But I wasn't too sure so I pretend I never hear anything. Maybe it was just my halucination. Fine, I'm crazy, ok?! Don't laugh!

Then B collected money from me and asked in Chinese "It's raining very heavily outside is it?"

Me: Yup.

A (looks over while serving another customer) (also in Chinese): Got bring umbrella?

Me: Yes (point to my red umbrella)

Me: (collects change) thank you.

Then I went off. I think I was walking very fast this time too. I must be siao la!

I just got so excited and happy that I was smiling all the way home!

CRAZY ME! :D

Funny weather

It rained last monday and wednesday, but we swam anyway.

Yesterday, I was pretty sure that it wouldn't rain. The sun was really scorching.

But on the bus ride to Geylang East, dark clouds flooded the sky and when we were almost at the swimming complex, it rained heavily. We ended up watching people play basketball at the indoor basketball court until the rain became smaller then we went home.

Today, I thought it wouldn't rain as well. It was super hot. Me and Joanne were going to run around the school to train for 2.4km run.

After we changed, thunder sounded. We ran anyway.

After half a round, large rain drops started falling and by 3 quarters of the way, it rained heavily. We ran back to school quickly (good for running). Haha... Then used the gym.

Joanne went off and I did homework with Jasmine outside the library until the rain died down. We had quite a meaningful talk on the bus. Talked about stress, friends and all. Made me realise how lucky I am to have my group of close friends!
