SAT scores
I got the scores yesterday, after I clicked on the "why aren't my scores here yet?" button, realising that the scores will only arrive at 6am Eastern time, which is 6pm here I think.
I got 1910. I'm super disappointed. I expected to do better.
Before I got the score, I knew that if I got:
Below 2000: I'll be sad
2000-2100: It's expected...
>2100: I'll be super happy!!!
So yup, I'm sad. It's not like I didn't study or anything, I did!
And I think it makes a big difference between 1900+ and 2000 cos it's like a big jump in number.
Above 2100 is considered good (Beverly got 2100). Mine is kinda average I guess.
I don't even know if I should take again. Look at my score breakdown:
Critical reading: 630 (84%)
Math: 760 (98%)
Writing: 520
--Multiple choice: 53 (score range 20-80)
--Essay: 7 (score range 2-12)
Ps. the percentage refers to national percentile.
It's the writing section I'm poor at. How to improve it? It's always been not-so-good. So if I retake the SAT, don't know if I'll be able to do better, or will I just waste my parents $100 signing up for it.
Haiz... I'm disappointed.
I wanna go overseas (not to US or UK though, so I won't need SAT), but if I don't manage to do so, one of my choices would be SMU. SMU requires SAT and I don't think my score is good enough for me to stand out (of course the A level results are important too!)
I don't know... Just feeling confused and even more disappointed with myself right now...
