Fashion design
After school today, the swim team decided to stay back to design our red arena shirts so that we can wear them tomorrow for the National Day celebrations.
Me, Janice and Kevin went to Parkway to buy fabric paint, and we met Joel Tang there. On the bus back to school, we had an interesting conversation. All of us, being year 2s, were asking each other if we had started studying yet.
I said I had only begun doing homework, haven't studied yet. Cos I haven't been doing much homework for the last one and a half years of my JC life.
Surprisingly, Joel gave the same answer. And he said that doing homework can actually be fun. Cos the fun comes when you can sit in front during lesson, take out all the homework you've painstakingly completed, and "display" it on the table for your teacher to see. Then you can pretend pretend to ask questions based on the tutorial, showing that you did your work. Hahaha!!! Damn funny la!
I never realised it, but unconsciously, I've been getting a kick out of doing that the past few days. Whahaha.... :D
That Joel is absolutely crazy too. While Vivien was using the fabric paint to draw on the shirt, he kept yelping and screaming in a sort of girly-gay manner. So funny la! We had a lot of fun drawing on the shirts, laughing like mad whenever Vivien drew something.
In the end, everyone's shirt has the words "VJC swim team" written on it in gold or silver, with a black nickname at the bottom. Mine was "charchar". Haha... Cute!
Kevin's was Bert. Cos he resembles Bert from Sesame Street cos if his big nose. Jiahui's was pang zi (fat boy) cos, erm, you know why. Eugene's was "big trunks" cos of his, you guessed it, big trunks, when he first joined the swim team. And another funny one was Joel's "small kid Tang". Quite cute! And, Joel even wrote on his sleve "Team Singapore". So funny, but quite paiseh! Hah! :D
I thought Shu Qi's nickname was the nicest - "flyer". I thought of it, cos she can swim butterfly. It's such a nice name.
After drawing everthing, we left them in the girls' toilet to dry. I seriously hope nothing happens to it.
Anyway, me, Sheryl and Li Yue are going to watch "click" this Thursday. During one of our breaks, we wanted to do homework at the concourse. But in the end, we ended up having quite a bimbotic conversation.
I was complaining about how I didn't get to go shopping over the weekend, and we also talked about cute guys in Superband, Singapore Idol and the new 9pm show on Channel 8 tonight, and teased Li Yue about her boyfriend. Totally bimbotic! But it was so fun! Haha... :D
It was then that we realised all 3 of us were interested in watching that movie, so we're going to watch it on thursday, probably at Plaza Singapura. I'm so looking forward to it. The 3 of us are best friends in class, and hang out in school all the time. The weird thing though, is that we've never gone out together before, other than the occassional class outing.
Yup, so that's why I'm so looking forward to Thursday!
Ps. I wanna blog about the cute guys we were talking about too, but that's a story for another time. It'll probably be a long post. Oh no, I think the prelims stress it making me bimbotic! HA!
