Yay, change skin!

Though I don't know whether it's nice or not... I was just getting sick of the last one.

Lots of things have been happening the past few days. I've been going out a lot, and also busy with spring cleaning, that's why I have no time to blog. Too lazy to do it. Haha...

I'll blog about those things another day (including prom!).

Firstly, i'd like to say sorry for the spelling misrajes [mistakes] here. O'm [I'm] not wearing my glasses or contacts right now so I'm half lind [blind]. I'm also waiting for my nails to fry [dry HAHA!], so it's not an easy task typing like tha [that] you know...

I went to do up my giar ay [hair at] a neighbourhood hair salon this morning. Now my hair is really nice!

First, the lady curled amsll [small] portions or [of] my hair. Then she started tying some of it to make the top a little :[uffy" ["puffy"]. Later, so pinned up small sections of the curled part onto on top. I almost thought she was soing [going] to pin up akk [all] of my hair into a bun-like thing. But I was too tidy [timid. Me tidy? No way!] to ask. Haha... Luckily she didn't la. If not I wouldn't be pleased with my giar [hair] right now.

After coming home, I had linch [lunch] and drank lots of water. Good to drink water now so that it'll all "come out" before I go out. Heehee... I'm not planning to drink much during dinner later. Cos I don't want to end up with a bloated stomach. Makes you look fat. Some girls ear [eat] really a lot during dinner and end up with bulging stomachs. They're not fast [fat] or anything, but the food takes up space you know. And since gowns are rather fitting, it really shows. I think it doesn't look nice.

Then again, we paid $95 for the meal. Got to eat our money's worth right? Haha... :)

I just painted my nails a silvery white colour, and they're drying soon.

Later I have one hour to gey [get] dressed and one hour for make up. A lot of time, I know. But I want to make sure I have lots of time to get myself ready. At 5, I'll take a cab, then fetch Jasmine and Li Yue then go to Ritz Carlton. I'm so excited!

It's going to be a great night! :)

I bought contact lens on Wednesday. It was from a shop at Bedok.

It was my first time wearing, so the lady was very nice to help me check my degree and recommend me the contacts. Because my astigmatism is quite serious, I had to get the more expensive type. It's $30 for a pair of monthly disposables. But since I'm going to wear it for prom, I don't mind paying.

She also got someone to teach me how to put them on. She called that person Ah-Lin, and I thought it was a lady. But it was a guy. Haha...

He was very nice. It was quite a traumatising experience putting something foreign into my eye. I had to try several times, and he had to push my hand nearer to my eye so that I could insert it. Haha... Then after I put both in, he said "ok, now we'll take them out." I almost fainted.

Taking out was much easier. I did it without much problem.

I left the shop without taking the pair of shoes I just bought for prom so I had to go back to get it. Haha...

Yup, so today is my first day wearing contacts on my own. I had some help from my Mum.

It felt really funny the whole day. Sometimes my vision was quite blur, and it was uncomfortable having something in my eye. But I think I look better without my glasses. Haha...

I don't know it I'll continue wearing contacts or not, since it's quite troublesome. Maybe I will... Or maybe not. :)
