The amazing part is, I almost had nothing to do for a few hours in the morning. I even went to help another supervisor cos Pei Shan had nothing for me to do. Sabrina was on leave, so I had even less stuff to do.

Today was quite a slacking day for everybody. Most of us didn't have stuff to do.

Then, at about 5pm, Pei Shan gave me some, or rather, a LOT of filing to do. Wei Wei helped me at first. When it was 5.30pm, I told her to go back first. Pei Shan didn't say out right that she wanted me to stay back to finish it, but I could tell she wanted it done.

She says we are going to start getting busy really soon. The next week, all me and Sylvia are going to do is to sit in front of the computer and type tax computations.

Sounds so fun... not!

I didn't mind doing OT anyway since I had nothing on. And can earn over time pay too... Haha... Plus, if I work after 8pm, I can get dinner and transport allowance.

I did 3 hours of OT and went back at 8.30. Since my transport was being paid for, I took cab home. Woohoo!

I haven't taken cab on my own for as long as I can remember!

I only had $15.45 in my wallet and I was so, so afraid I wouldn't have enough for the cab fare.

Guess how much it cost?...

Phew!~

And... I almost forgot to ask the taxi driver for a receipt. Without it, I wouldn't be able to collect the fare from the company. I suddenly remembered after I alighted, and luckily, the uncle was still there, and had not restart the meter yet.

I can't imagine what would have happened if I didn't get a receipt.

And, PSC called me again today. This is the 2nd time that they're calling me when my phone is not with me. Damn irritating!!! Cos they'll call my home and when I get home, my parents will complain about how I ignore the phone call and stuff.

Not like I want to, OK!!

I was holding on to my phone the whole day, and she just had to call when I was busy filing...!

Anyway, it's all settled now cos I've received the email from PSC I was supposed to read.

I think I'm going to buy a handphone strap to hang around my neck...

You are doing Tax?! I did corporate tax many years ago and it was really really boring.

Drove me crazy for 2 years.
